MY BESTIE

My best friend is GAYANI SAMARARATHNA. She was born on 9th of May in 1999, which means she is 22 years old now. She lives in Colombo. There are five members in her family including her. Both her parents are teachers. Her elder brother is married and works to Army. Gayani's young sister is schooling at Gothami Balika Vidyalaya.

My bestie was educated in two schools. She got her primary education at Sri Sanghamiththa Balika Vidyalaya, Maradana. Then she entered Gothami Balika Vidyalaya for secondary education. She did her Advanced Levels in commerce stream. Currently she is an undergraduate in Faculty of Applied Science at the University of the Uva Wellassa in Badulla. This is her second year at the university.

Personally I think she is really a kind hearted, innocent and responsible person. At the moment she is busy with her higher studies and also following a course on graphic design. After higher education she wants to be a software engineer and hopes to get a job in engineering field.

With this busy schedule She never fails to find time to watch movies, listen to songs and read books. Apart from these she was very much interested in travelling. Although she is not very clever at dancing she enjoys it.

Our friendship began in 2005 when we were in grade one. That means our friendship is now sixteen years old. She knows every thing about me. I often visit her. Whenever we meet we recollect our past, get fun and enjoy ourselves a lot. Above all she is a good friend and I always feel her like my sister. I am really lucky to have a best friend like Gayani and she also wants to be with her loved ones. I hope our friendship is ever lasting..........❤.
